In the universe my characters live in, tensions exists between the two dominant species. Canines live in oppression and can do little against the dragons who command the land.

According to the wolves legends one wolf-dog overpowered a dragon and made it her slave in order to destroy the Southern Continent, and after it's destruction the mutt disappeared.

However the dragons have a legend of their own. They refuse to believe a simple dog could do any of the like and soon they came to believe the creature to destroy a huge chunk of their world was a chimera of some sort.
