Proposed design for a monument commemorating the Centaur/Troll Flame Wars of the early 21st century. The inscription may be translated roughly thus:
"Tis often said, the Eagle does not seek
To hawk at little flies;
But, should one barge into his noble beak,
The foolish insect dies." 7@=e

Dear Mr. Appaloosius,
Could you possibly respond to a short questionnaire?
1) Have you ever examined exactly why your art is so "centaured" on centaurs?
2) Do you have any personal belief system that revolves around why that is so?
3) Would you be free enough to share those beliefs with me?
I am always curious and seeking to learn from others who share my seemingly singular fascination with centaurs.
Sincerely,
T-Reg AKA Greg

Well, let me see:
1) I gave a brief account of my sudden conversion to centaurophilia in my profile. It's just one of thoseidees fixes that come along at an impressionable time of life.
2) I don't know if it would be considered a belief system, per se; rather a set of rationalizations to justify my personal predilection.
I suppose I regard centaurs as a synthesis: the grace, power and charisma of the horse, together with the human advantages of hands, speech and reason. Plus, it's much more fun if you don't have to worry about falling off while galloping. 7@=e
3) See answer 2).
Hope this helps to satisfy your curiosity.

Another point I just remembered:
I think my 'taur art was an outgrowth of TF fantasy; and I think now that TF is a reflection of the awkwardness and general weirdness of growing up - particularly when one hits puberty. It can also be generalized (or perhaps sublimated) as an existential response to the sense of alienation from the 'real' world.
This is strictly my opinion: your mileage may vary.... 7@=Q

Hmm. I don’t worry about my kinks, though I might obsess over one of them. My reason for thinking about them is that I like complexity and progress. I want to know something better than when I first encountered it. So, thinking about it, examining it – it gives me a richer experience. I need detail. And it seems like a waste to have something you’re interested in sit there, without moves being made to fully actualize its potential.
