I got told it was a mako myself, but the teeth are wrong

The teeth looked more like hammerhead to me, but as I said that was my best guess :(

Yeah I wasn't 100% sure if it was a hammerhead. Somewhere in my head it couldn't have been such an amazing shark I have in my collection. But I think you are right!

Mhm. As someone who studies sharks (and owned the jaws beforehand) my guess is about 99% positive that its a hammerhead, smooth hammerhead to be exact.

Out of curiosity, how does one clean these? With regular methods like water maceration/beetles/etc?
Although I probably will never have to clean anything like this, I am now wondering, hahah.
Such an awesome thing to add to your collection!

I don't know for sure, but I would use warm water maceration, but I gess beetles would also do the trick :)
