The incident that cause my NBC fan character, Oscar, to leave Halloween Town for good.

Backstory: Oscar used to visit the local Halloween Town bar often, being they were one of the only places that had a special recipe for fresh rats even he didn't know. One of the customers there, a large rat demon, took offence at how he could eat his "brethren" and told him to stop. Oscar explained he couldn't help it, as it was his main diet. This enraged the rat demon even more, causing him to stomp out of the bar. The same night, Oscar was taking out his trash when he noticed a feral rat, near death, among the trash cans. Being his instincts couldn't hold him back, he took the rat and put it out of its misery, placing it in a fresh bag to take home. Sadly, the same rat demon from the bar saw him, and became enraged how he'd kill one of his own kind. The demon then lunged at Oscar, digging his claw into Oscar's right eye and sinking his large fangs into his back. Oscar grabbed the nearest weapon he could find, the disattached leg of a metal crow statue, and swung it at the demons head. The demon's head split open as he fell to the ground, and Oscar contunied to pummel the beast. Since this moment, Oscar couldn't trust anyone from Halloween Town again. This caused him to move out of town to find a safer place he could call home.
