A piece about animal species becoming extinct.
Couldn't fit all the animals I would have liked to, but the ones featured are from top left:
Java Tiger/Bubal Hartebeest/Quagga/Pyrenean Ibex/Baiji River Dolphin/Passenger Pigeon/Golden Toad and lastly the Thylacine aka Tasmanian Tiger.
The glass represents the shattered bond mankind has with the natural world, with fragments of life now lost to us.

I used this wonderful stock as a reference to help my digital art (I wasn't very confident about doing such a complicated animal from imagination.)
