Stars are things that stand out, things that we are oddly attracted to.
Their radiance isn't something to be ignored, the more you see the world in their view, the more you'd like to become like them.
They have a brilliance around them -- they seem to spread all around, affecting everything that touches their paths.


They're so pretty and hard to reach.
But at the same time we continue to build towards them, so that someday we can be with them.


This is my fourth painting this summer , when I was inspired by the colors of the sunset that I'd never seem to notice when I trudged my way to school.
Somethings just aren't as visible until you slow down to look at them.
