After 5 days of traveling, Paper-Whiskey and myself finally made it to our final destination. Everything was pretty smooth up until we got to Bagram where we had to sleep in a transient tent, between a busy road and an airport, on mattresses that have been there since 2003. Needless to say, we didnt get much sleep with the constant sounds of diesels trucks, F-16s, and people moving in and out at all hours. Luckily, we were able to catch the next flight out of there so we were only in Bagram for about 18 hours. Two hours after catching a flight, I was finally back to my work-site. I met my new co-workers, got a decent plywood room, got internet, and bought some stuff from the PX and the Hadji-Marts to make life more comfortable. Time to start fixing things.
