Todays the day that a spark dragon contest will arise and roll over thoes who enter with lvoe.

This contest opens on June 9, 2014 and will close on July 25th, 2014 at 5 am est.

Here in this contest you will get the opportunity to design your own Spark dragon. All that is required is your art skills and the coloring of an spark dragon made by you c:. Drawing skills come second when is comes to the appeal of the dragon c;.


There will be 10 top winners who will have there design put on a premade base and made official by me! Depending on the number of people entering the winners just might increase.

To all those who enter are allowed to have there dragon put on a premade base for a fee of $10 (usa) via paypal. Customs cost around $15-$45 depending on the ref sheet ordered. (pleas enote me if you would like to have your design put on a premade base once judged)

Information on Sparkdragons:
You might be thinking “What are spark dragons?” and “Why are they called Spark dragons?” Well, spark dragons get their name from their tails! Yeah the tails have a spark that is like a heart. Spark dragons are a sub species born from normal dragons, but really came to life when an egg was laid near Spark Mountain. A lighting strike hit the egg which caused an unknown mutation casing a spark dragon to be born.


The eggs are small and come in a number of colors. Spark dragons are known to lay a liter of 10 eggs, with only 5 hatching. Some get lucky and see all 10 of their eggs hatch. It is rare to see one lay more than 10 and really uncommon to see less than man or 3, but it also depends on the climate or home.


Spark dragons are pretty small in feral and can also turn big’ mega form. Some prefer to stay small to hide easier and be held by others. Not all Spark dragons have the power to turn anthro, some are wild animals. When in feral form small, they are 1 foot tall and as Mega they range from 9-18 unless on the Luxruen Island they would range from 10-22 feet tall.

Rules:
-Bases are not allowed.
-You must draw your own design and color it.
-Please do not recolor others work.
-Tracing is not allowed
- Please include the element you used for your spark dragon and what are they.
- DO NOT i REPEAT DO NOT FOR GET THE BANDS ON THE TAIL. This keeps the spark contained in the tail, with out it the spark can cause death.

Some traits not on the sheets:
These traits are allowed to be used
-Spark dragons some times have add wings, like butterfly, any type of bug or even a type of fish built wings. Depending on were they are the wings will change.
-Some sparkdragons are born with only 4 toes and fingers.
A lot tend to be anthro when born if not raised in a village outside of town.
- Depending on the element theirs items in the tail, or can be none
- Please make sure to have a spark with what ever the element is in the tail or item.

NOT ALLOWED:

- An spark dragon with 2 tails
- Animal within tail
- Aura dragons
- 2 headed spark dragon
- Rare elments or body parts
- Tigers snowlepords etc along that line, just smacking the markings on there same as is.


Ask for before doing:
- Mixing elements, please inform me on what elements you sue, because some do not go well with spark dragons.

Q: Is there a specific pattern that butterfly type spark dragons use?
A: Butterfly markings are what you want to go for or just any pattern. Since its butterfly
Stay away form like tiger markings alot, you can have them but not so much, unless its based on that butterfly breed. Since Butterfly breeds live mostly in tress, you don't want them looking to much like a land animal.

Q: So is there a specific tail style that goes with butterfly types? and ear style?
A: No , there is not you can either use normal sets or make up your own BUT SHOW ME FIRST. If I am ok with it you cna use them and they will be added to the offical body sheet.

Q: Are we allowed to make babies or/and minis?
A: As in to start if off?

Minis are allowed, but try not to go out of control with them.
Babies are born with tiny tails and with out wings.
They are also born with very small horns, like nubs

Q: If you win, and get one of the ten spots, the premade base and keeping your spark dragon is free?
A: If you get a spot of the 10 you get to keep it, if not, you are NOT allowed to keep the dragon but use the color palette for something else. You are allowed to only KEEP THE PALETTE , but not the spark dragon, the color palette cna be used for something else. You must pay in order to keep it the dragon and have it put on the base so its official.
