against my better judgement, i experimented in a panel style i absolutely dislike (wavy borders for drunk characters) and i really do not like how it turned out. so next week, i'm going with my instincts. but hey, sometimes experiments like that turn out well....and sometimes they don't. so it goes.

Ow ow owwwwwch. I winced with vicarious pain at the fifth panel -- I could practically hear and feel the fur ripping off with the patch. Ow. ^^; Kyo, you silly... at least it seems you're too tipsy to feel or care about the ouch...
I love the blue and green cityscape, but I keep wondering how the detox patches work on aliens with fur. Usually a transdermal patch needs to be attached to bare skin for the medicine to be transmitted into the body effectively. :. Is it something like a microneedle patch instead?

mostly i just scifi'd it. 'it works through fur because it does. fur absorbs it or something. because science in the future. shhhh.'
if it helps my BS explaination, hekshanians have very short fur and aren't very thickly covered on most of their body. the patch would work on hekshanians, humans, chuians, etc but aliens with a thicker coat like myches or nikitaks would need something different.
