I know some people find dolls, even Ball Jointed dolls creepy.
But how about one like this with those big shiny anime eyes?
Huzzah, one of my grail dolls is basically complete.
He's quite simple, just a school uniform and a proper wig and he's all good. although he still needs shoes and socks.
Took a bit of tricks to get the soft vinyl head on the resin body (utilizing a film container cap, a dremel tool and a rubber washer)
But I am super pleased.
I wish Dollfie dreams had a male body, but the closest anyone can get is the Obitsu male body, or female body with male torso replacement part.
But I wanted a resin body, so I stuck him on the bobobie body.
Head sculpt: Dollfie Dream (DDH-07) + faceup by my friend. [Semi-white Skin]
Body: Bobobie 60cm male body [Normal skin resin]
Clothes: LUTS Retro school uniform (ebay purchase)
Wig: Echo wigs custom fur wig
Resin match is close, but not perfect. (but I'm not picky so it doesn't bother me?)
I like to pull a little strand out and give him a little ahoge but you can't really see it in any of these photos.
I'll draw him when my hands are healed.

the DDH (Dollfie Dream head)s are supposed to be female, since Volks only sells female dollfie dream bodies, but the 07 head makes for a nice male face with the right paint/face-up and on a different body. Younger anime characters tend to be kind of androgynous, face-wise anyways. So.
So much cute.
