Remember the meme, where you had to draw what you were wearing at the moment you saw the meme?
I stubled to one of the tag-pics earlier, wearing nothing but a towel... xD I felt somewhat embarassed.
Feel free to do the meme too if you want. I'm supposed to tag people who look at this, but I prefer it this way. ^_^'

I usually summarize a meme as a virus of the mind (as opposed to a physical manifestation of a virus).
It's when you spread an idea of a song or something by expressing it and then the next person follows along or can't help but follow along. Think--like when you get a song stuck in your head and you can't help whistling it or singing the lyrics.. someone overhears it and does the same.. then they have it stuck in their heads all day. These little culturally popular videos (like Star Wars Kid, Chocolate Rain, etc) are considered memes because people catch on to them.. then spread them like viruses. (ie: viral videos).

Funny that! :) I agree.
About a year and a half ago, one of my cousins came over and she boggled at all my computer stuff and what I did with them and I admitted to being a proud geek. she tried consoling me and said, 'Aww.. you're not a geek.' I literally felt kinda insulted. :)
I tried to explain to her.. 'proud geek.' I'm QUITE happy with that label and I TOTALLY embrace it as most techno-savvy folks would. She insisted I wasn't a geek. It was pretty funny and my mom had to sort of get in the middle and reset the conversation to put it back into some perspective.
Man.. it's funny how a slander in the 80's turned into a badge of honor in the 90's as people started to put computers in their homes and suddenly realize what they weren't able to understand a decade or two earlier. :)
...and that's all I have to say about that. Pthth! :P~~~
