My first trade I've completed. And I'm quite proud of it ^^
I think this took me a few days to do on and off with work in between.
And I can't think of anything else to say except that I hope Styx likes it...

Glad you like it. I just realized this looks a lot darker on regular Computer monitors as opposed to the tv ones...
I enjoyed this greatly and i think this has helped me get out of the art slump I was in.
If you want I could send you the higher resolution version of this. Just a thought.
And on autonomy I cheated... ^^;
I have the little wooden mannequins and used a picture to get the pose right...

I'll just need your e-mail... though I suppose that could be acquired via your user page...
Also, I like drawing you/your fursona (whichever is the right wording in your case). The patterns make it fun and more interesting. I wanted to put some interesting patterns on mine, but unfortunately I was unable to come up with any I liked... Besides the cheek marking. Who knew a lack of sleep during a boring class could result in kewl markings.

I cheated... Xp I used a picture as reference. I took one of my maniquens (butchered) and set it up next to the mirror I have in my room and took a picture.
But all in all, I'm very proud of this piece, it's probably my best digital piece ever thus far. ^^
That, and talent can be substituted with cheep practice XD

Well, I've had a lot of practice, considering I started drawing comprehensible images when I was 2 and a half (I still have the pictures).
That, plus I was always fascinated with weird perspectives like 1, 2, 3 and curved perspectives. I still need to find out about 4 and 5 point perspective...

the different numbers relates to the number of vanishing points you have in one image.
Take this one for example, I have a two point perspective, and you can see this in the lamp (since there really isn't much else in the picture to indicate perspective). The lamp has it's edges slope downward to the left and to the right. If you where to draw lines going off to the sides of the image and beyond the boundaries, you would see the lines connect (ie the downward lines going down to the left on top and bottom of lamp will meet and same with the ones on the right). This would give you two points where everything extending that far would essentially "vanish".
And now as a result of this explanation, I am going to have to work on a perspective piece/pieces for shits and giggles... Xp (lol)
