So apparently Xan wasn't killed by my mother-in-law. He just ran away to Mobius.
Xan gave me the idea to have NICOLE, as an artificial being, have machine noises inside, particularly an old 56K modem. I felt then that if you're going to do something with that, you gotta have her with at least AOL.
I'm pretty much going to stick with using the Alternate Mobius version of NICOLE because I think she looks best and because I don't even want to attempt her dress.

I can still remember when I started my job over 20 years ago. One of the Librarians was teaching me about the fax machine. She thought it would be funny to make me hold the reciever to my ear as the fax was going through. Yeah...funny to her! *wry laugh* That sound is.............incredibly ear-splitting!
