I am planning to do a scene with a robotic spider for my demo reel, so not feeling inspired to work on anything else art-wise, and lacking time to do anything complex (long story, lets just say a little critter took the phrase "computer mouse" too literally, so I had to spend this afternoon cleaning mouse droppings out of my computer case and finding a way to plug the hole that the mouse was getting in through), I made this rough draft today. I was originally planning to do a more robotic-looking spider, but I like how this one has come out so far, so I may go with more of a hybrid of the two designs in the final design I do.
This little spider took me a little less than an hour and a half to make.
I'll probably put this in scraps after a newer version of the spider is finished.

I had removed one of the PCI Cards without putting the PCI slot cover back in. At the time, it was good for ventilation, so I thought "no problem". Now that I have mice in my room, it's a problem, so apparently, a single PCI slot is large enough to let these mice in. You would be surprised what small spaces mice can squeeze into. I had bought a gerbil cage to make a humane trap for the mice and was surprised one day to find the mice squeezing between the bars to get in to drink water and eat food.
