This is my newest OC, Manasa Wilson (but you can all call her Mana^_^). Mana here is the first lamia I've ever drawn, and her tail was easily the trickiest part of her to draw. I actually had a lot of fun coming up with her character, because she's a big fan of anime and manga, and loves to play video games. In other words, she's an otaku (which there's no shame in). Mana is named after a Hindu snake goddess named Manasa, and was later given her last name, Wilson, because she was found in an oasis at the base of Wilson Cliffs near Las Vegas.
Like many of my non-human OCs, Mana is able to change between her natural form and a human form. Mana can change between forms at will, but in order to do so, she needs to be warm enough. At the very least, regular body temperature. Being a lamia, Mana is naturally cold blooded, so the cold can have a great impact on her. Because of the human part of her DNA, she won't die or hibernate if she becomes too cold, however, it will greatly weaken her. The colder her body becomes, the weaker she gets, and should she get too cold, she becomes unable to maintain her human form, as well as unable to change forms until she warms back up.
