I'll never understand why in the show Celestia hid the alicorn magic in Twilight and left that stained glass window with the picture of Twilight in the castle. This is like in computer games when the bad guys hide something you seek and the developers of the game leave hints for you where to find it. But this computer game logic looks strange in the cartoon.

Lol if that's so then that guy broke the mold of stupid villains shown in show
So far Mostly female characters are shown to be clever while male characters like snails and snips are shown to b stupid lol
Characters like Discord or Tirek are shown as the only male characters who are clever :)
