The gods themselves! Well, two from Greyhawk anyway. Hieroneous the Arch-Paladin faces off against his brother, Hextor, the Herald of Hell, Scourge of Battle, and Champion of Evil! I took some liberties with the descriptions of both.
Initially this was part of a bigger thing which wasn't working out, so I took out the rest of the picture and touched up some of the inks - which means this is actually the size I painted at. Oh man not doing that again. I painted this up as a value exercise, and tweaked colors to try and make something like Catholic iconography (as imagined by someone who's never actually been Catholic).
