My character SarahBR (to diferentiate from the hundreds of namesakes I found) parodying a character something known... on Japan! Marin, from Super Umi Monogatari pachinko series (Super Sea Story).
I discovered the series after some "walks" on Japanese Google Street View. I can say that the character I more saw at Tokyo streets was Marin. Maybe I could be wrong because I always surrounded train and metro stations, that gather around them most of the commerce of the districts, and, always at the best shopping spots, are the Pachinko parlors.
I have two almost-impossible dreams on my life: have my characters drawn by professionals (this so many people got, I don't know why) and live there, in Japan. I barely know English, let alone Japanese. And probably I must think about a five-fingered version of my characters...
