Experimenting more with digital "painting" where I do a grayscale study-thing as a sort of grisaille-underpainting then layer on all the colors including the color of light and color of shadows. It's a fun technique, and definitely the way I prefer to work, I just need to iron out all the kinks in my process.

I can't seem to get the edges to feel "smooth", and that's probably due in whole or in part to the artistic process itself: having so much gray all muddled about makes it difficult for me to properly align the other layers.

If I keep working on the process I will get better!
