Gah, each time I read those lyrics, I get Sweet Home Alabama stuck in my head.
Say, that makes me want to share a piece of musical information with you.
My father is a really damn good musician (where I get my inspiration and talent from), and the other day we were in the car and Sweet Home Alabama came on the radio. After listening to the song, he told me this:
Sweet Home Alabama has the most recognizable tune of any song ever (as in, it has been proven), and if someone played those first four notes, and nothing else, you would be able to immediately identify it.
I find that simply amazing, being the musical connossieur and geek that I am.
