Jasper! XD I worked all day furring this guy, and here's me finally wearing him~ He... probably won't be appearing at any cons (like this), since the breathing and vision is poor, but it was a fun learning experience. X3
Also, never work with all-foam. XDDDD *Brick'd* It's a fun medium, but if you're making a head, it gets hot as hell and such... I'd much rather use the remaining foam I have for footpaws.
Anywho! Jasper (Jassy, for short) is a mix of coyote and snow leopard. The anatomy doesn't show much, since it's only a partial and this is only a shot of the head, but yeah. XD He was made with all scraps, pretty much, only a few pieces were actually cut from the fur itself.
Plus sides: Follow-me eyes, a fun character to draw. X3
Downsides: Ventilation and vision = terrible.
I like 'im nonetheless. X3
My friend, Me'chelle, made the paws.

Well, my basic suggestion would just be to bring the forehead a bit lower or make the eyes bigger; as it is, he looks like he has a huge forehead. xD I'd also suggest getting better fur for the main tan, if you remake him, since the current tan fur looks like sand. ^_^; texture-wise. but, other than that, not much advice to give. you did good for a first.
Yeah. XD I know about the forehead- as of now, it's insanely hard to see out of because nothing holds it in place or anything. And yeah, the fur is kinda like sandy/curly. XD It was stuff I had lying arond and he was originally supposed to be a test-head only, so I settled for the crappy stuff...
