This is the first preteen aged character I've drawn and I'm glad the age finally comes across! =__= So much pressure!! I love drawing Kangaroo feet, too! They're so random, so lots of fun lines! Also trying to be more adventurous with backgrounds since you guys said I need to be better with them! ^__^ TOTALLY AGREE! Colors are a start, right???

I learned a few things here and there throughout my background creating journeys.
A good background might be a lot of work, but its also a great rewardin the end.
Layers of trees make a forest, not one row. crooked and Fallen trees exist, not just straight ones.
Colors are different based one the time of day/lighting of the environment.
A crescent moon environment has less light than a full moon one.
(I can write a journal on how lighting alone affect the art)
