This was a submission to the FURKINDRED project, a multi-creator shared world book series published long ago by MU Press. It was a filler strip done for the second volume, OTTER MADNESS, and concerned the radio station run by the beaver clans of City. I did three of these, and besides being a one-page gag, they also referenced events taking place in the book's other stories. The book's long since been out of print, so I thought I'd post this for posterity.

I have to agree with 
heywulf . When I first saw this, I thought I was looking at the small version you click to see the full version (but not the thumbnail). I was able to increase the magnification on my browser, so I did get to read it, though.
Too bad about the antenna array -- I'm sure it makes a perfect drying rack!

Carp Warbling was totally made up. We were trying to think of sports and games that the Furkin would devise, and it occurred to us that most would be species specific and make absolutely no sense to us whatsoever. So Carp Warbling, whatever it is, was something that would only make sense to an otter.
