From a roleplay with diveantman of DA where Eli is a human.
The world they're in is a post-apocalyptic future combining several of our favorite post-apoc. worlds. Fallout, little bit of Borderlands (shut up), little bit of Mad Max, got some various other things from movies, games and even from some good music videos. :) Yup.
On the far left, we have Darrick, the experienced Wastelander than Eli happens upon his first day on the surface. In the middle, we have Eli, a young Vault-dweller who is sick of the BS in the Vault and sneaks out and finds a town in the Wastelands. And Crusher, son of the Vault Mayor ready to take over, who because of some issues with his implants and unprotected mechanical parts, goes crazy and attempts to kill Eli and Darrick, and becomes a powerful ally.
