Did the Happy Meal really need a mascot? There are a whole ton of McDonalds mascots that they rarely use anymore. I suppose the Hamburglar and others aren't politically correct anymore. Then again... I think some of those talking hamburgers use to creep people out too.

I just think the new mascot is just an Annoying Orange just using a Happy Meal box instead...and right now offering the Pokemon XY toys for "boys" with a seperate girls toys. That used to be only for Barbie and Hot Wheels...but McDonald's cheapened the goodies by making a "boys" and "girls" offering for all promotions. >.<
