I always wonder why werewolves don't change when the full moon comes out during the day.

The sun is a werewolf's best friend. They only transform when the lunar rays/energies are at their most potent, i.e. at a full moon, but when the sun is out as well, the moon becomes irrelevant. Even during a solar/lunar eclipse (cant remember which) where the moon blocks out the sun, the moon will have next to no power, since the sun's light has to bounce off of the earth, hit the moon and then reflect back down once again. This is just what I believe however, as people have many different ways of interpreting when a werewolf transforms. I base my theory off of the amount of light present from either the sun or moon, saying that they transform during the full moon since the moon has full dominion during the night as opposed to the day when the sun is the main provider to nullify anything the moon reflects.
