I can hardly believe how my work has improved over the last year. My drawing really hasn't but my coloring sure has, and it makes all the difference. That, and I've really worked on drawing hair.
I have to say that working on the tarot series really has pushed me to improve. Too bad I should be working on homework instead!

If you can switch between the two, I'd call the one on the left an entirely new style for you--with or without the excruciatingly detailed musculature :). Otherwise yes, it is a marked improvement (although I wouldn't term the older one a slouch either--it's got more of an animation quality to it that isn't all that easy to pull off for a lot of people)
Yeah, I'm constantly changing my style to suit my mood. It seems the best work I feel I do is always when I should be doing something else. It's true that I originally designed the one on the right to be used in a comic book setting with a certain type of setting, so it is appropriate in its own respect. I appreciate the comment.
Wow, the improvement is pretty crazy: the on the right has a nice animated feel to it, like a cartoon or movie, but the one on the left keeps part of the animated feel and blends it with high detail. All the definition you added to her muscles looks great, and the slightly bluer chest fur makes her stand out more. I'm not sure about the contrast of pink with her orange/bluish-white, but it still adds to it by making her seem feminine.
It's great to see more of Rosary, too--think we might see any of her doing her bouncing job at the club?
