It's weird. Despite playing all the Elder Scrolls games (okay, not the first two, but Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, yes), I know about frost atronachs, but... just... nothing came to mind about what they looked like. Had to look it up XD
Anyway, yeah! Kinda looks like their club arms are more designed for smashing and maybe slashing (looks almost blade-like), whereas this guy would probably do more smashing and piercing, what with all the little spiky bits, as you said :b It was an idea that came to me randomly as I was doing it - art director wanted a sort of gorilla-like posture, so it made me think of big strong forearms, and from there, they just got spikier and bigger until they were just big giant morning star clubs XD

Since it's made of ice, swords and magic don't seem like they could hurt it much.
If you want to kill this thing, go at it with a sledge hammer.
On another note, will it be possible to create golems in Endless Realms? In D&D, golems are supposed to have been made by wizards, and yet a player can't create them. I think it would be cool if, in a roleplaying game, you could make golems and they would count as half ally, half magic item.

I think the reason Player characters can't make golems is because it requires a lot of crafting and magic(which in 3.5 equals xp for crafting) and making a golem would basically eat up so much xp that it becomes counter productive. I don't know. That's me guessing. It could also be so that players don't just end up making hordes of golems for companions.
