Dude find a 6 year old and have them create a monster design and then re-draw it.
My cousin came up with some weird-ass moon monster who has polyps that look like candy and when spacemen go for the candy they stick, and the monster fries them with laser eyes and eats them with 7 mouths that can meld into one giant mouth.
Apparently she listened to a lot of Lovecraft as a kid because her drawing with fucked up in the best ways.

I drew on graph paper back in 2000-2001 etc. too, except not nearly as good so this is a very strange sight to see a good drawing on graph paper lmao
Like, I do think even the one on the left is a good drawing. The remake on the right is definitely an improved remake but the left has a simplistic imaginary charm in its idea and drawing style, like it's purely a drawing of a Pokemon... made by the developers.
