After waking up from his nap, E.D required a change. Unfortunately, while his caretaker Katya was changing him, she knocked the box of safety pins in the air vent and couldn't retrieve them. Since they had no strapped diapers, she had to improvise. She took E.D's cloth diaper and tied a knot in the front. After setting him down, she bent over and tried to get the safety pins out of the air vent. E.D was uncomfortable with the knot, as it pressed against his belly whenever he bent over. Still, he wore it until he used it later that day, when he was grateful to have a pinned diaper again.
