Nah, he's a kid, so if he WAS dead, he'd be a Skull Kid in TP and then there's the fact he was in Hyrule for barely any time (Zelda says he's been there for a short time), therefore unlikely to have had children beforehand, making TP Link non-existant. I feel its more likely he was KO'd or that Termia is like the Room of Requirements, and he's getting over Na'vi.
