I used to always draw anime. Mostly Sailor Moon when I was younger. lol. And then everytime I would draw something that wasn't people still thought it was Sailor Moon *rolls eyes* It was annoying. I've wanted to tell them get your anime straight because all anime have different styles.

Heh, I can imagine that would be exasperating, yes. I mean, I can kinda imagine how peoples would define anime as Sailor Moon, as that's kinda what made anime known to the larger audience outside of Japan, but there really are so many different kinds. I vaguely remember seeing one of the first anime series on Dutch TV way back in the 80's. It was called "Candy Candy", if I remember correctly... or at least it was called that here in the Netherlands =~.^=

I think the 1st anime I saw before Sailor Moon was that little mermaid movie. old school animation. Could tell it was old. But of course didn't know it was anime then because I was very young.

Yeh, I can remember thinking that Candy Candy series was reilly weird... strange-looking characters, vague story-line, seemingly no discernible plot. But well, I was just a kitten in the 80's, so what did I know? =^.^=
