As the hawk took flight, suddenly a small bird swooped in at him and I'm not sure just whether the hawk was trying to catch the small bird or just trying to dodge it. They went into a fast series of aerial acrobatics together and I just snapped pix as fast as I could, hoping to get at least one that was in focus and showed them both well. I got several blurry ones, but this is the best of the batch. Moments after this they moved off into the distance and a minute or two later the hawk circled back by himself. I guess he lost the little bird somewhere out there. ;3
