Been wanting to do some art of this very special chipmunk for quite sometime. This is Hakooji the Chipmunk who cast his vote for day. As the one who bravely cast that fateful vote in the face of the most feared animal in the forest and thus had his life taken by that animal, and who's teachings of the sun being the giver of life to all being vindicated by his revival by Tawa, Hakooji is the corner stone of the Chipmunk Kingdom, and the one foundation of Chipmunk Kind as we know them today.

Not quite family in the genetic sense. However, successive Chipmunk Chieftains from Hakooji's time thereafter all the way to Tamias as well as future Chieftains serve as Hakooji incarnate and living embodiments of all Chipmunk Kind and thus are responsible for carrying on Hakooji's teachings 'till the end of time.
