My, unfortunately now deceased lovebird, Bueno. I took this photo a few years back. I recently moved out with my boyfriend about half a year ago. We lived in the condo for a while and out of nowhere my feathered kids and I all started getting ill.

Turns out we were living in a house built in 1915. The walls were coated with lead paint, the waterlines were probably lead pipes. We were all poisoned. Instead of fixing this problem or warning it's tennants legally about the hazards, the landlord painted coat over coat of new paint over it. I lost two of my babies, and it left another paralyzed. Archimedes- the paralyzed one is fully recovered after giving him shots at home for about a week.

I'm still devastated to this day and miss this little man and Storm Trooper like no other.
