Things were noisy at the Julafton household, which wasn’t that different from normal considering there were two adults, two babies, three pets, and three teenagers (or one teenager and two kindergartners depending on where you placed Petie and Jules) in the house at any given time… but there were four extra members added to the chaos today. Rose’s Aunt Julian, her husband Harold, their baby daughter Mary, and their nephew Chester. The whole Julafton family was gathered in the living to visit and get to know their guests, which thanks to the giant size of their house, was only mildly crowded, as the adults were enjoying a conversation while they watchrf their baby girls happily play together in the middle of the living room rug with Jules who was on baby minding duty so Petie could talk with his cousin.
“Your daughter is very cute Julian, hope the move hasn’t bothered her any.”
“Naaa she’s tough like her mommy! And your daughters are cute too, adorable lil’ snowcubs!”
“Thank you… um… is your daughter… using Comet Punch?”
“Yep, she takes after her mommy!”
“You okay Jules?”
“Yep, yep~ Don’t worry bout me Momma!”
Gwen and Julian sat on the couch watching their daughters as Mary happily pounded away at Jules’s tummy with her little baby fists while Holly & Carol just giggled at their new playmate being silly and Jules smiled, obvious unbothered after all the times his baby brother had smacked him with various toys. Across the room Harold and James were having their own conversation since James was a former battler who worked for the local league that Harold and Julian had just transferred into, giving them some common ground for an… odd conversation.
“James? Mind explaining why you’re telling me to try to avoid match-ups with these people? Screaming Lou, Randal of the Swamp, Amelia the Torch… Gorgeous George? Okay I KNOW that ones been used before.”
“He insisted and nobody’s sued yet so who knows.”
“So why should I avoid them?”
“Well if the stupid names didn’t tip you off most of these folks are amateurs meaning they’re more likely to nearly kill you AND themselves than they are to give you a good match.”
“Aaaaaah, I’ll keep that in mind… and a stupid name is something a lot of leaguers have to work to shake off from their early days.”
“Oh? You speaking from experience?”
“…. Hardcase Harold.”
“Owch. Tough cut the last part and you’ll probably have an action figure deal.”
“We’re working on it.”
Meanwhile, next to the stairs and the entrance to the kitchen Rose & Petie where trying to get to know their cousin as Chester stood there fidgeting nervously and not really looking at them. In fact he’d been almost dismissive of both of them the whole time… which had Petie & Rose concerned. Had they offended him in some way? “Um… Chester?” Petie spoke up “Cheeester?” he called as the chespin finally turned his attention away from watching the playpen and looked down at the teddiursa for the first time. Before Petie could try to ask him what was wrong though Chester gave him a patronizing smile and patted his head in an absolutely demeaning way as the grass type spoke.
“Nice to meet you too little guy, sure we’ll be gooood friends. Yes we will~”
The tone was “big kid to toddler who can’t understand him” and absolutely insulting not to mention surprising since Julian had told the teddiursa she’d already told Chester about him. He’d assumed that meant she’d mentioned he was fourteen. While Petie was standing there blinking and trying to figure out what just happened Rose spoke up “Sorry, it’s just that you’ve been ignoring both of us is all and” before the kangaskhan could finish the sentence Chester cut her off in a rather insulting tone of voice.
“Like, don’t worry bout it kay? Don’t wanna talk about fashion or boys so, like, lets skip that kay?”
Rose joined Petie in staring blankly at the chubby Chespin who’d just talked to her like some kind of valley girl. She wasn’t sure if he was insulting her or not but he’d gone right back to ignoring them as he resume watching the playpen and acting bored… or maybe even annoyed at their presence.
***********************
Chester was utterly miserable. He would feel rude if he intruded on his aunt or uncle’s conversations and the babies were having fun playing with… he guessed it was one of Petie’s playmates from the kindergarten he should be going to? She seemed like a nice girl all the same… but it meant it left him with only his cousins to talk to. They were pretty much exactly like he’d pictured them after his aunts description. Petie was a big cute, dopey toddler, how he got into the PCA of all places Chester would never know, and Rose… well her hair wasn’t blond but all she was really missing was bubblegum and a cheerleader outfit. She was probably a sweet girl but he really didn’t want to deal with vapid conversation at the moment…
Though he was curious why they were looking at him like that now, was it something he said?
**********************
Even utterly baffled by being talked to like that Rose could still see Petie puff his chest up in indignation and just GLARE at Chester angrily before looking away and trying to give the chespin the cold shoulder. Meanwhile Chester just looked baffled at how confused (or in Petie’s case upset) the two looked after he’d said that. “Um…” Rose said, too confused and bewildered about being talked to like a valley girl to really be angry, as she tilted her head and tried to come up with something to say to break the awkward silence Chester’s comment had caused “So… you’re going to be going to the PCA, right?” she finally asked, fairly certain the question was innocent enough not to cause any trouble no matter how Chester responded to it.
“Yeah, like you two…” the chespin started as Rose smiled to him… which lasted about three seconds till Chester opened his big fat mouth again “Was kinda worried actually…” he said patting Petie’s head as the teddy glared at him “With a baby somehow attending a high school and all… but I think I’ve figured it out.” He declared, giving Rose a beaming smile that did nothing to stop the feeling of impending doom she was getting. “I bet you ask some of the sports jocks you spend your nights with to keep him from being bullied, right? Whichever one you’re with that week or something like that?” he blurted out as Rose felt her jaw drop and could see Petie’s fall to his chest.
There was an awkward moment of silence as Chester looked confused at this reaction… before Rose just barely managed to catch Petie’s little fist in time to keep him from trying to knock Chester’s buckteeth out of his mouth.
***********************
Chester immediately got the familiar feeling of having said something that might have come out wrong when he saw the two’s jaws drop… and while he was used to a beating following him miscommunicating with people the chespin certainly wouldn’t have thought the adorable little Petie of all people would have been the one to try and give it to him. Or that Rose would be the one to stop him. Standing there flabbergasted he watched as Rose gently tugged her baby brother into the kitchen and away from him, Petie giving him a burning glare that Chester wouldn’t have thought possible from a toddler.
Just standing there wondering what the heck had happened for a moment Chester decided to try and figure it out… by eavesdropping. Unfortunately being his size made stealth rather… difficult. That and he didn’t dare actually try and peek his head into the kitchen to try and get a better listening angle. A bimbo and a baby his cousins might be but he was pretty certain they weren’t blind. The best he could manage was pressing his chubby frame against the wall next to the doorway to the kitchen and try to overhear them…
And promptly pouted since the two were apparently far enough away he couldn’t make out a single word they were saying. The best he could do was make sense of their tones and it seemed like Petie was absolutely furious and Rose was apparently trying to calm him down. Which just confused Chester even more… he shouldn’t have been old enough to even understand what Chester had meant about Rose. Maybe he hadn’t know? Maybe Rose was quiet when she… but that didn’t seem possible really. Unless they kept Petie in a playpen most of the time he’d have to notice the guys she brought home…
Chester blinked as he realized the talked had stopped and wondered what had happened… just as Petie rounded the corner and glared at him. “A-ah! Petie! I… um…” Chester started, fishing for an excuse the toddler would believe to explain his eavesdropping… but he didn’t get a chance as Petie grabbed the front of his shirt and with a powerful yank pulled the chespin to stagger forward. “Ack! H-hey!!” Chester stammered as Petie continued dragging him into the kitchen, past a concerned Rose, and out the patio doors into the backyard. The question of HOW a toddler was able to drag him around like this vaguely crossed Chester’s mind but at the moment he was too confused to bother trying to figure that one out.
Petie still didn’t stop as he continued to drag Chester past the sleeping persian and onto the soft grass. Finally stopping around the middle of the yard and letting go of Chester. “Um…” Chester stuttered as he watched Petie turn on his heels and stomp away, able to easily see the teddiursa’s big diapered butt under the shorts he was wearing. “What’s going on?” he finally asked, looking around and hoping SOMEBODY would fill him in since he felt like he’d missed a page in the plot development.
“We’re gonna battle! That’s what’s going on!” Petie shouted, turning on his heels again to face Chester as Rose finally followed them outside. “… ha ha haa… that’s cute, seriously what are we doing?” Chester asked, smiling a little at how serious Petie was trying to look and sound “I’m not going to battle a kid how hasn’t even mastered potty training yet…” he said, shrugging dismissively as he started to walk back towards the house. “You’re gonna or I’m going to punch your teeth down your throat.” Petie growled, stepping in Chester’s path and bearing what were obviously not baby teeth. Making the chespin gulp and look to Rose for help, even though he doubted she’d be much help.
“… you sure you want to do this Petie?” the kangaskhan finally said after a few moments of silence before sighing as the teddy nodded vigorously. She walked to stand between them and looked before she looks at Chester “… you know basic PCA match rules, right? First to surrender or be unable to continue the match loses?” she asked… which was admittedly more intelligent input then the chespin had expected as he just numbly nodded, half convinced this was a crazy dream. “Alright… I’m going to be refereeing this match then, and don’t think I won’t put a stop to it if you two go too far so cool your temper Petie.” She said, giving her little brother a slightly concerned look.
“…….. no promises.”
“…… are both of you ready then?” Rose asked as she looked between them, stepping back to let them get a clear view of each other. “… do I really have to do this?” Chester managed to weakly whine as he looked at the two siblings before sighing “Fine… won’t take long anyway…” he mumbled in defeat as Petie reaffirmed he was ready. “Okay then…” Rose said raising her arm before swinging it down “Begin!!” she shouted as Chester stood there for a moment trying to figure out how much effort he should put into this…
And promptly got smacked upside the head by a chubby little fist as Petie dashed over and punched him. Staggering back Chester briefly wondered how a kid in diapers could move that fast before he raised his chubby arms up to block the next blow. Petie had to jump up a little to reach his face due to the size difference so Chester was pretty sure he could block the little blows easily enough… at least till Petie slugged Chester in the gut doubling him over and dropping his guard for the teddy to follow up with a punch in the face.
Reeling and staggering back Chester held his nose as he wondered what the heck had just happened. The blows hadn’t really hurt that much but the fact a toddler was smacking him around was shocking. Seeing Petie charging again Chester swung out with his fist, hoping that Petie was the type of baby who’d give up and cry when he was knocked down letting this end quickly. Imagine his surprise as Petie ducked under the Chespin’s fist and punched Chester’s large belly again before ducking under Chester’s second swing and hopping back out of his range.
How the heck was this happening!? Chester couldn’t understand it at all as he struggled to regain solid footing after the last punch to his gut. Petie was just a toddler, a diaper dependent, drooling, cooing baby… how the heck could he fight this good? Temper flaring slightly the chespin leapt forward as his arm glowed and then swung a Needle Arm down towards Petie’s head, intent on knocking him out and ending this rather than just knocking his baby cousin down. That baby cousin easily ducked under the blow and kicked Chester hard in the ass knocking him flat on his face. The glow of his arm abruptly died out as Chester lay there utterly stupefied and stinging a little from getting smacked around by Petie. The blows weren’t strong but they were starting to build up… not to mention the sheer amount of damage that’d been done to his ego so far.
Pulling his face out of the dirt and shaking it Chester looked around, trying to find Petie. After scrabbling around on the ground for a moment he found the teddiursa, standing several feet away from him and in a well done fighting pose, particularly for how big his diaper was. Taking a deep breath and puffing it out Chester decided it was time to show Petie who was the big boy here. He didn’t want to have to do this… but the teddy obviously didn’t understand a toddler wasn’t supposed to be this good at fighting so Chester would have to teach him by sending him crying to his mommy. Curling up in as tight a ball as he could Chester’s whole body spun in place as he built up to use his best move.
***************************
Petie didn’t know if Rose’s training regime and working at the dojo was paying off or if Chester just sucked really, really bad at fighting… but either way he’d been able to see every clumsy blow the chespin had launched coming and had dodged them easily. He wasn’t sure how much damage his blows were actually doing but so far Petie hadn’t been hit once and he’d been smacking Chester around the backyard. Of course the fat jerk demanded it for what he’d said about Rose and how he’d talked to him…
Watching Chester curl up and start spinning in place Petie actually had to stop himself from rolling his eyes along with the chespin. Defense Curl and Rollout… Petie was very familiar with both of these moves. The coach of his team, a miltank named Maddie, used both of them and was stupidly good with them. Thanks to Maddie Petie had seen them performed in combination several times and how they worked… which made sidestepping and letting Chester shoot straight past him when the chespin launched the attack easier than Petie had expected.
Watching Chester make a broad turn, nearly careening into the fence in the process, and make a second pass Petie found himself picking out where the chespin was messing up even as he two stepped out of the way of the attack a second time. Chester was pretty fast when rolling… but he had to make broad, awkward turns meaning every time he launched the attack he had to do it in straight passes making avoiding him almost stupidly easy. Even if he’d been in thicker diapers Petie was pretty sure he could still have dodged it… of course there was still one major issue. Petie had no clue how the heck he was supposed to attack Chester while he was doing this as the teddiursa danced out of the way of the attack again.
***************************
Realizing all he was doing at the moment was burning off energy Chester decided to break out of his Rollout… by awkwardly tumbling to a long stop and just barely coming short of ramming his head into the fence. Coughing and spitting dirt he pulled himself to his feet and brushed himself off before turning to look at Petie. He didn’t know HOW he was doing it but somehow Petie was able to completely dodge his Rollout… which admittedly wasn’t HARD but still a diaper wearing toddler shouldn’t be able to do that!
Either way it meant he was going to have to try to make this a melee fight again despite Petie somehow having super baby kung fu skills… if those were even a thing. Meaning Chester would have to use that move. Taking a deep breath and sticking his inflated chest out as far as he could Chester struck a pose by putting his hands on his hips and glaring down his nose as Petie as the teddiursa was walking over to him. Petie stopped in his track to stare at him… as Chester hoped this was working. He couldn’t look to see if the glow that was supposed to have formed was around him, cause if it wasn’t he was just making himself look like an idiot.
Chester finally saw a blue glow surround Petie as he stared, the expression on his face saying he though Chester’s pose was the stupidest thing he’d ever seen. Which coming from a toddler hurt, but was worth it as the Swagger took hold and Petie suddenly reeled back, staggering like he was taking his first steps again. Taking the initiative Chester charged forward as fast as he could… which was still pretty slow much to his shame. Luckily it looked like the confusion was doing the job as Petie ended up smacking himself and squeaking in pain as he staggered, making Chester feel a little guilty… but he wasn’t going to lose to a toddler. He just wasn’t going to let that happen!
Holding his arm out and building up energy in it Chester swung it down at Petie, intending to clothesline him with Needle Arm and end this. He wanted to make it as big and cool as when his uncle did it but he’d barely ever done it in an actual match, let alone on a smaller opponent, so he had to swing it down in a clumsy arch as it crashed into Petie. Knocking the teddiursa off his feet… as the Faint Attack HE’D swung out with arched up and smashed into Chester’s chin knocking him back as well. He’d forgotten about the whole “make their attacks stronger” part of Swagger… at least till he felt his teeth rattle in his mouth as he stumbled and fell on his ass.
***************************
Groaning in pain Petie struggled to sit up, still seeing red for what Chester had said about Rose earlier. Petie was going to beat Chester till the stupid asshole was as short as he was! He was going to pound all that fat into the empty cavity where Chester’s brain should be! He was… he was… going to groan in pain and wince since that Needle Arm had HURT. It wasn’t helped by him smacking himself in confusion… but the second blow seemed to have snapped him out of that. Now if he could only get up…
Which was surprisingly hard as Petie struggled to pull his upper body into a sitting position, the difficulty just making him want to smack Chester down even more… at least till he caught Rose’s gaze. His sister was giving him a disappointed, disapproving look that he’d seen a couple times before. It was the look he used when they were doing battle training and he did something that went against what Rose was trying to teach him… or whenever he up and did something stupid after she’d wanted him not to. He whimpered under the gaze, slinking down a little back into the laying position, and racing his mind for what he might be doing wrong.
He was… uh… maybe he was… no it wasn’t that he wasn’t focusing on his opponent. Maybe… was he messing up how he was throwing his strikes? Petie groaned again as his chest ached with each breath he took. He couldn’t think on something like this when he was in pain like this… that was it! He wasn’t using the move she taught him when he should! It was a recovery move after all! Taking a deep breath Petie focused his thoughts, focused his energy… and promptly thudded his head against the ground as he fell asleep almost instantly.
***************************
Rose groaned lightly as she shook her head a little at seeing Pete drop off to sleep. She’d MEANT Petie was letting his emotions get the better of him and he wasn’t trying to win the fight, he was focusing on beating up Chester. She’d wanted him to cool his head, calm down, and fight like she’d taught him. Of course his first reflex lately whenever he was hurt in a fight was to use Rest... unfortunately unlike her that meant he was left open and only able to use Snore till he woke up.
Either way maybe a quick nap would help him calm down, so far this fight was so one sided him sleeping probably didn’t matter either… of course, Chester would have to be an absolute IDIOT not to take advantage of the opening. Well, more of an idiot then he’d already shown himself to be anyway. He had to know that you took advantage of the moments of vulnerability when your opponent used rest. Even amateurs knew about that…
As the groaning Chespin sat up, rubbing his chin where Petie had smacked him, and promptly said “What’s going on? Did he miss naptime? Does this means the fights over?” which made Rose facepalm hard enough she might have actually hurt herself. Rubbing her nose a little she gave Chester an absolutely PITYING look and couldn’t hide the disbelief in her voice “You seriously don’t know about Rest? … good lord… your uncle and aunt are pro-league FIGHTERS for Mew’s sake…” she groaned in disbelief as Chester just looked confused for a moment till he saw the glow of the recovery portion of Rest surrounding Petie. Then it looked like he’d finally realized what was happening.
Unfortunately by then it was too late as Petie let out a sound so loud it didn’t seem possible with how small his body was as he used Snore. Rose winced a little, slightly regretting teaching Petie that move since it hit anyone near him… and meant he needed to sleep with a pacifier for a few weeks till he stopped doing it randomly. Either way it looked like it’d worked as Chester visible flinched and covered his ears, falling back on his bottom. Hopefully he’d get the idea Petie’s out of his league as far as fighting skills and surrender soon…
Having insulted her or not this had to be getting embarrassing for him.
***************************
Trembling and clutching his ears Chester felt like kicking himself for not having realized Petie had used Rest. He’d been to more than enough of his uncles tournaments in the leagues, he should have recognized the move immediately… but no… he had to have Rose of all people tell him. He was getting his ass kicked by a toddler cousin and his bimbo cousin bluntly pointed out a major mistake he’d made… this had to be some kind of bad dream. That or… or he’d been wrong about them…
Chester wasn’t sure whether the flinching or that thought was making his knees tremble as he tried to stand up and regain his balance. He needed to focus… focus on the fight… he had to attack before Petie woke up. The chespin’s eyes lit up as he realized the obvious, a sleeping target couldn’t dodge… which meant he could use his Rollout combo now! Falling back to his hands and knees and trying to block out the growing doubt in what he’d assumed about Petie & Rose Chester started to curl up for the Defense Curl part of the combo…
As Chester suddenly felt a soft weight and pressure on his back along with hearing a familiar thick crinkling sound accompanying that weight and catching a whiff of baby powder. Stopping mid curl Chester realized what had happened… or to be exact who had just sat on him like he was some kinda cushion. “Quick nap kinda cleared my head… so do you really wanna do this?” Petie said, swinging his feet around so he was sitting on Chester’s back like he was expecting a pony ride “Cause we both know how this is gonna end and, surprise surprise you aren’t the one standing triumphantly at the end.” The teddiursa’s tone had a noticeable edge of hostility to it but was much more level and calm them before as Chester turned over what Petie had said in his mind.
Chester liked to try and imagine how pro-league fights would go in his head, what the fighters would do, what moves they’d use, who would win… he wasn’t often right but it still meant he could try and visualize what would happen if the fight continued like this. The end result, unless he got lucky with Confusion and Petie beat himself into submission, was that Petie would keep beating up on Chester and using Rest to recover till the chespin fell. And that wasn’t even taking in the power boost the teddiursa would get from Swagger into account! Biting his lip and clenching his fists in frustration Chester finally sighed and faced the inevitable as he uncurled and ended up sprawled out on his tummy, Petie still sitting on his back, before he reluctantly mumbled.
“… fine… I give up… you…”
“… say it.”
“… do I have to?”
“Yes, yes you do for what you said about me and my sister. Now say it before I get mad again.”
“… you win. That’s what you wanted right? You. Win.”
“Good.”
“Okay Petie, that’s enough of a power trip for now. I know you don’t get to do this often but I think he’s gotten the point.” Chester heard Rose say as Petie’s light weight was lifted off his back, finally letting the chespin sit up. To be fair he could have before, Petie wasn’t really that heavy, but if he’d tried the teddiursa would have probably smacked him. He didn’t know if they were looking at him or not but Chester couldn’t bring himself to lift his head up enough to check. He didn’t dare look them in the eyes after all of this…
“Chester, look at me please.” Rose suddenly said, her tone even and gentler then he deserved, as he reluctantly looked up, fully expecting to get punched hard in the nose or worse. That didn’t happen though as he found Rose had set Petie down, the teddiursa was standing next to her arms folded and still looking less than pleased with him, and was kneeling down a bit so she could look Chester in the eyes better. Her expression… was hard for Chester to understand. He wasn’t good at reading people beyond “They’re angry at me” but if he had to guess… it… it was kinda like in comics when a mentor character was disappointed with somebody… maybe… either way it made him whimper in shame as his spines drooped.
“Chester… I have NO clue where you got your ideas about what we’re like…” Rose tone was still gentle but Chester flinched at just how much sheer disbelief was in it… he really messed up this time “But I can tell you that you were completely wrong. As you can see Petie isn’t the baby he looks like, no offense Petie” she added quickly as the teddiursa made a face “and as for me? I’m not part of the cheerleading squad, I’m a virgin, I have no interest in dating anyone right now, I am NOT a slut like you implied” Chester shrunk a little at the insulted edge Rose’s tone took at that last one “And if anyone he couldn’t deal with bullied Petie I’d straighten them out myself… understand?”
Standing there finally looking and listening to Rose Chester couldn’t help but wonder why she wasn’t finishing the job Petie started and beating him into unconsciousness. He was pretty sure she could, the muscles she had couldn’t be for show. Yet here she was calmly explaining to him how badly he messed up and, maybe, giving him a chance to make amends for stupidly assuming stuff about them. Honestly Chester had no clue what to make of this… his brain was flipping through the pages of character archetypes he was familiar with to try and find something this would fit with for him to understand better but he was getting nothing.
All he could understand was that Rose was apparently forgiving and kind enough to be willing to give him a second chance even if it did look like Petie still wanted to slug him. Thinking on it Chester internally grimaced as he realized Petie had probably just been defending his sister’s honor when the chespin had basically called her a slut… something Chester had come across in his stories and could understand. Which brought things into perspective quite clearly for Chester finally. HE was the bad guy here, HE was completely and totally in the wrong, and they were giving him one more chance… which left him with only one thing he could do.
“I’m very sorry for everything I said.” He said, giving as deep a bow as he could manage with how his body ached “It was rude and insulting of me to assume all those things about you two without getting to know you and I’m sorry… um…” he fumbled for a moment to try and think of what else to apologize for “Um… I’m also sorry for being a big jerk?” he meekly offered finally, hoping that was good enough. Luckily Rose gave him a graceful, beaming smile.
“Good, now how about we start this over then? I’m Rose and this is my baby brother Petie and we’re glad to meet you.”
“Speak for yourself Rose…”
“He did apologies Petie…”
“I had to beat it out of him first.”
“He’s right, I have that coming…” Chester sighed before giving the two the best smile he could manage “A-anyway I’m Chester. It’s nice to meet both of you… um…” he bit his lip for a moment as he considered whether or not to ask this question but his curiosity won out “Rose? … if you’re not a slut how come you dress like one of the characters in those comics in the 18 and older only section of the stores I’m not supposed to look at?” he asked, only realizing after he said it that he MIGHT have been able to phrase that better as Petie and Rose’s expressions turned to shock and Rose exclaimed.
“This is from Sailor Moon, it’s a cosplay!”
Seeing the genuinely cross look on Rose’s face Chester squeaked and panicked, looking desperately for a distraction before grabbing the nearest thing he could… as he held Petie out to Rose as the surprised teddiursa squirmed and protested and Chester shouted the best excuse he could think of at the moment.
“PETIE NEEDS A CHANGE!”
“PUT ME DOWN YOU IDIOT!”
“… he is right though Petie, you do need a new diaper.”
“… I was right?”
“Rooooooooooooooose!!!!!”
Chester glanced at Petie’s bottom on reflex… yep, droopy diaper butt. He’d made the right call there. Maybe now they wouldn’t hit him anymore… and as soon as the thought crossed his mind one of Petie’s little legs lashed out and kicked the Chespin in the nose making him drop the bear and fall on his own butt. As Petie leapt onto him, squishy diaper and all “STOP INSULTING MY SISTER YOU JERK!!” he shouted as he started to pound on Chester… while the chespin flailed and tried to protest for Petie to get a fresh diaper first THEN beat on him since this was kinda gross…
Meanwhile Rose just let out a long sigh as she looked at the two thrashing on the ground “This is going to happen whenever you’re around now, isn’t it?”

Poor little guy... I hope Rose and Petie have a good influence on Chester... otherwise he's well on his way to becoming an Eric Cartman-caliber Fat Bastard.
And nobody wants to be Eric Cartman. That sociopathic little lard-ass has NO redeeming qualities whatever.
