Wow... that is gorgeous work! It's an excellent piece for perspective, and I like how you've done a subtle white back-light to it to draw it out more from the background. Also nice is your paint method for feathers - enough to imply they're there without going into crazy detail on them. Of course, my favourite bit, those incredible footpaws. I have NEVER seen an owl or avian character of any sorts detailed out so nicely! She has absolutely gorgeous feet, and apparently knows it from the pose. :) Well done!
