This is a thumbnail I made for our reading of My Immortal, a notorious Harry Potter fanfiction. Ebony is made from a gothic doll dressup game with some tweeking in paint.net for her purple hilights and red tips. I also used the Star Jedi font and a font called Harry P.

God I hate that story. Its not only a crime to both Harry Potter and its fandom, but to literature itself. it embodies every single bad aspect of fanworks. Bad writing, self insertion, wildly inconsistent characterization, wish fulfillment, its like actually going inside the brain of a wangsty teenage girl. I'm not a Harry Potter fan or anything, but as a literary work, it definetly deserves better than that.
And the sad thing is, we've actually read worse on the show. Worse as in My Inner Life.
It's truly horrible. On top of being a story that never ends, as in it's over 94 pages and dull and dry as dirt, it makes key characters pointless, constantly retells information it just told you, can't even get its kinks right (slave and breeding anyone?), basically enslaves Link and MC together in a nonsensical pagan ceremony, and keeps teasing the reader with stories that'd be more interesting to read than this shlock not to mention all the tiger sex and the multiples and multiples of orgasms she and Link can apparently have. I mean, if you thought Ebony was bad, omg, you haven't meet Jenna.
I mean, the author's note alone was 4 pages and it took us an hour to read it all. TT__TT
