Though that I'd put up some of my art projects that I did for class this year. This one was for Illustration 1, and the project requirements was that we take a celebrity and portray them in a positive light and a negative light.
I chose the one and only, the Duke, John Wayne. This was my positive piece. I chose to portray him as a sheriff with the American flag in the background to symbolize the patriotic character that Wayne was. I'm gonna be honest, I really enjoy John Wayne's films and the person that he was off the screen. This one was much easier to draw then the negative image that had to do to accompany it.
