isn't she? ;w; i was so sad after i lost Tater, my guinea pig. i didn't think i'd find another pet that bonded with me. it's been a week and we're already so close. >w< she still won't let me handle her though, but i think that's because she's a pet store rattie and she's not used to humans yet. o~o
Just give her lots of treats~ It takes some time for her to get used to being touched and handled, especially for a pet store rattie. I would like to suggest getting her another female rattie friend, they are highly social creatures! uwu It might actually help keep her calm so you can hold her. I have six rats currently.
