"Hey Sam," TJ popped his head up to the top bunk, "Did you know that no matter how hard you hit the top of a pop can, you can't crush it?"

Sam shook his head incredulously, "Nuh-uh. I bet I could crush one with a single strike."

TJ scoffed. "I bet you can't. In fact, I bet you $5 that you can't do it."

The two boys snuck to the kitchen and grabbed a can of Coke out of the fridge. They grabbed a cinderblock, covered with stains and goo from TJ's various bright ideas that weren't too bright in hindsight, and their father's sledgehammer.

TJ set up the cinderblock, and placed the can of Coke on top. After handing Sam the hammer, TJ asked, "You're sure you want to go through with this? If you stop now, I won't hold you to the bet."

Sam took the hammer from TJ, and said, "One swing. One swing is all I need."

As Sam took a few practice swings, TJ ducked behind the corner of the shed, chuckling to himself about this being the best five dollars he ever spent.
