I like renamon,the digimon, but people tend to just stick with main character digimon and it drives me up the wall! So many great digimon out there(just under 1k), and people just never use them :/

Im sick of seeing it too. Trust me, ive met a couple of people who were like "Oh, I know nothing about digimon, but I like Renamon!" It annoys me so much. =/ Needs more variety! All just because Renamon is "OMG ANTHRO FOX SO HOT", thats why she gets so much attention.

If it belongs to a main character and/or is a canine, people usually like it.

Sadly, Strabimon doesn't get much attention,despite being hotter imo.

how about delicious things like Pajiramon and Gargomon? nono, not Galgomon.

Its probably because Renamon has a much simpler design then other higher level Digimon that might appeal to furries..(wayyyy more intricate to beginner artists ) easy to draw design + biped canine/fox creature =furry porn fest(and the fact that Renamon had a female voice/persona appealed greatly to straight furs making the porn be *alot* more then it would if she were male voiced and such, as well as the whole made-up theory that she had boobs somehow magically hidden under her chest fur in the canon only increased the straight furs to draw her even more.. usually in Pokemon /Digimon type animes most of the furry-like biped creatures seem to be male... ) :0...that is just how the fetish works lol....but its lame of course yes...but its a fetish so you can't expect much to begin with lol.

Well, for one, there's tons and tons of other sexy rookie level digimon that aren't owned by main characters to choose from, and even champions that are about the same.

For two, I'm well aware of all the reasons why it happened, trust me.

Renamon was a cool 'female' main character, somewhat of a tomboy with a soft side, while being quite strong at the same time. Usually those types of girls get the most fanboys (like rainbowdash in MLP for example, or Tifa from FF7)

But yeah, if it's a bipedal canine, looks/acts cool, and has a easy to draw design, and is the main character in at least one well known thing, it's complete and utter furbait. Savers' Gaomon would've been there too, if Savers didn't come out so late, if it appeared right after Tamers did , as opposed to Frontier, we'd be seeing tons more Gaomon porn too.

I just think its more because Renamon is a 'fox' and is a 'fluffy' canine that is biped(same reason Krystal got popular ,although she was more 'designed' to be sexy to begin with)...she would most likely still get drawn way more then the other rookies/digimon even if those others were a part of the 'main' group of Digimon and everyone knew them.

....most furries like fluffy things, and that is not what most biped rookie Digimon(with the exception of Gaomon and such) look like or even most simpler designed higher levels look like (reptiles like Guilmon or Agumon and such seem to outnumber fluffy ones majorly )...heck even Gatomon is way behind Renamon with porn stuff and she was around first in the classic series..to you those other rookie Digimon are just as 'sexy'/ attractive as Renamon ..but not to most form what I have seen, and that wouldn't change easily( I wish it wasn't this way I find it stupid as well lol..but I don't think most furries will start liking the others as much even they got well known..because its Renamon's *design* they like and hardly anything else 98% of the time. ),

and it probably wouldn't change unless something equally 'fluffy' and canine came around.. until that happened I still don't think there would ever be anything as 'alluring' as Renamon to most of the fandom...not even another character that had the 'tomboy' thing imo either, a large majority of porn has Renamon rather girly/pinup and totally OOC or being on the 'bottom' and people like just as much for the most part it seems or don't even notice to begin with. (which is why so much art of her bugged me ..because it *wasn't* in character )...Bronies and RD can't really be compared to furries with Renamon imo...because bronies are more actual 'fans' of MLP ..where as most furries just look at Renamon as simple fap material and and care little about the show she is in or her personality to begin with ..the majority do not care about her personality/character ...its just biped fox=hawt logic going on...and because she 'female' she has overly excited straight furs all over her character and it makes her popularity increase by a thousand percent...

I'm sure Renamon would still be cursed with too much yiffy attention even if Gaomon was around then because ...

Gaomon is male and in terms of having long term popularity like Renamon probably no.. there are lots of male biped Pokemon /Digimon to choose form which may be equally/more appealing.. (temporarily there may have been Gaomon thing going on for awhile if that happened possibly...but nothing like what Renamon has)... and he wouldn't appeal to at all the straight furs..which where most Renamon porn comes form.. and the main reason for there being *too much* yiff/art of her to begin with..only a bit of it is male Renamon stuff form what I've seen ,and furries have a fox fetish or a good majority do so ...Renamon would still be cursed XD.... Digimon are Digimon to furries ... but Renamon is *Renamon*.
