Thanks so much! And no, none of the species are closed - people are free to make their own spirit panthers, or congars, or bagboos or whatever from the game as they'd like :) The only rules the developers care about are not then reselling these characters (eg. adoptables) or making paintings of them that are put up for sale as prints, or otherwise used commercially. If you just want to create characters and RP or draw them and have other people draw them, that's fine :)
By the way, I'd be interested in checking out an OCs you create if you happen to make one based on any of the sketches I've done :)

The ideas actually come from the art director, who gives me a very brief monster description (eg. gorilla cat - gorilla like arms, but catlike body, lynx ears, mane on either side of body) This one was basically "spirit panther, fast and sleek, magical, three fox tails, paws and spirit markings with blue fire." So the idea part is mostly done for me, hehe ;)
