Sergals, man. I could draw from now until the heat death of the universe and I don't think I'd ever quite figure out how to draw them properly. Here's my latest go though.
I originally started out using references for this one like all the rest, but no matter what picture I tried to use it always looked bad, so I just gave up and made something up. I'm glad I did, I think the results are kinda neat. Not sure why she's looking so down though...

Sergals are like sexy fluffy sharks with prehensile clitorises... what's not to love? They do give one a spot, though. The anatomy's so random and there's nothing to compare it to - and their heads are like Shere Khan, it's so many different planes all harmonizing with each other, and every part of the head has to look right.
Seriously, never try to draw Milt Kahl's Shere Khan. Hardest head design ever created.
