So without explaining too much, Aiden is a leader of a guild within a pseudo "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" universe. Aiden's ultimate goal within said universe is to literally rule the entire "Dungeon."

While Aiden for the most part has been brute forcing his authority (with varying degrees of success) Some have joined Aiden's guild willingly, in particular this Groudon who is nicknamed 'Curry' due to his love of hot and spicy foods.

Groudon prior to meeting and joining with Aiden, ran his own guild, which actually rivaled that of Aiden's in terms of combat ready members as well as those whom were dedicated merchants. His goal was very much similar to Aiden's.

The two decided instead of fighting against each other for supremacy, they would form an alliance, and work together for the same goal, and in the process the two became friends pretty quickly.

Both Groudon and Aiden frequently meet up for Guildmaster meetings, to discuss the general development of their guilds etc. But most of the time use this as an excuse to go off to eat and drink.

I think its also worth mentioning that both Groudon and Aiden are 30ft tall. While their height can be scaled down to a proper respective heights with the use of certain relics. 30ft is their 'default' height.

Trust me thats the abridged version of this. But more or less the real reason I wanted to draw a Groudon was because of the hype for Ruby and Sapphire remakes! Granted this image was only going to have Groudon in it, but then I was like fuck it and added Aiden into the scene.
