The Philippines' first Anthro/furry Festival; today at May 17, 2014, 11:00am to I have no idea when they'll stop; I left before the Rave at 6pm started. This was uploaded roughly 3 to four hours after I left the con.
Not bad; I honestly had a great time-
Aramur: "You were not interacting with the "fursuiters" and with your fellow humans. You were just wandering around aimlessly with your camera."
Aramur, here too? Anyway, the original plan was to have Uncle Kage say a few words of encouragement as well as have a panel via Skype, but the plan went wrong.
We could chat with him perfectly - the chat was broadcasted. We were even told afterward the staff were able to communicate via video with Uncle Kage. When the time to actually have fan interaction in the convention, we could not connect the video.
When we did, we thought it would be great to greet the prestigious man with the Filipino Greeting: "MABUHAY!"
Five minutes later, the feed cut off. We were also unsure if the sound pushed through for both sides. We could see him wave, smile, and drink (WE SAW HIM DRINK! FANBOY SQUEAL!), and he... was focused on a woman.
Anyways, it is currently a running gag/rumor among us that this "incident" will make it into a future "Uncle Kage Story Hour". Whether this will actually happen is unknown.

I regret the technical difficulties! If it does not make it into my Story Hour, you can be certain that it will be part of my "Convention War Stories" panel, where I talk about things that go wrong at conventions.
The staff tried very hard to make it work. They had multiple contingency plans, but all of them had an issue. I still applaud the effort!

We regretted it as well, but it was washed away by the fact that we were still able to communicate with you! ^_^
Oh, there is a "Things That Go Wrong" panel? I did not know that; I must journey through YouTube! :D
The effort was definitely applauded, and we still got the chat working fine! Fabulous second prize! :)
