I don't quite understand why people turn it dark or serious.. but this show has been a big part of my life c: people started noticing my art because of it, I learned new art techniques, I made lots of friends, I'm learning how to animate now because of it... it's been a huge influence!
I know~ I saw Lauren Faust's reaction to all the publicity on the fandom's Wikipedia page. I'm also a fan of Tara Strong. I actually find stuff like that interesting, the social and general psychology of it all... The way people can screw all social barriers to come together over a common interest. You think of them as weird until you realize they're just normal people. It's intriguing and and uplifting in a way... It's what lead me to the furry fandom, aside from my love for animals.
