New art? Gasp! ...Well, it's not THAT new; I did a quick pen doodle probably two months ago of a sandtiger shark, and I fiiinally got around to scanning it, then cleaning it up ever so slightly and coloring it (or attempting to) in Photoshop.
Sandtiger shark, grey nurse shark, spotted ragged-tooth -- whatever you call them where you're from, I love these guys. My favorite part of my current job involves diving in the main aquarium, and my favorite fish are the two sandtiger sharks that reside there. They're so big and graceful! Watching them cruise through the water toward me and then nonchalantly turn at the last moment is always the highlight of my day. :D

WOO! :D I love doing that, too; my husband and I drive down to Venice Beach when we can and pick up fossilized teeth from the water's edge. We're hoping to go diving there soon so we can find something a little bigger than sandtiger, tiger, and lemon shark teeth... I'd loooove to find a tooth from a megalodon! :D
HOLY SHIT, YOU'RE KIDDING!
I love Venice Beach, but we're in Orlando so the farthest we ever go is Mulberry or Arcadia or Wauchula when we go looking. DAMN LADY.
By the way, I too want very much to find a megalodon tooth. It's not the same if someone else finds it and gives it to me- I want to FINNND IT.
...we should hang out.

I've bought cheap-o chunks of meg teeth at the Dinosaur Store in Cocoa Beach, but, yeah, I want to find one with my own two hands. Pictures like this -- http://www.floridawestscuba.com/Ron.....d_of_Teeth.jpg -- make me drooool. I hope he didn't scoop up all the meg teeth that were left down there! :( Sniff!
I've never been to Mulberry or Arcadia, and I've only been to Wauchula for a team-builder at the Center for Great Apes -- I didn't even know you could dig for shark teeth around there! I know the Peace River in Arcadia is supposed to have lots of fossils, but I've never been. It's on my list of places to visit, though. :D
SHARK TEETH = LOVE.
(Replying to my post instead of to your comment = lose. Sigh.)
