IT'S GREAT I honestly have never had problems with mine. Installing was smooth, and unlike others (including my Pen & Touch) I had to uninstall & reinstall, had problems using it with various programs including Photoshop CS3 and Paint tool SAI.
This one I've just been using easy & flawless since I bought it, and you can purchase a wireless kit for it incase your wire breaks (the wire is not built in, which I love since 99% of the time, the problem with any tablet I've ever had)

sorry I know that was probably a typo but geez...XD
Yeah, if you're very careful with it (I've been OCD careful - I even kept the end caps for each end of the cord, and the little fabric bag you can place it in to keep it all nice) then it should be fine. Software-wise I think it was a little tricky setting it up but otherwise OK.
