Inked Reference Sheet for Yakone!
So this was a fun offsite commission I did for the lovely Yakone, of his husky character of the same name! Yakone gave me a color scheme and full artistic freedom which was AMAZING, and I completely ran with it. I really like marking styles that somewhat mimic the actual animal the character is based on, so besides the yellow I tried to follow common husky markings. I think it turned out really nice!
About halfway through Yakone suggested including the big dipper and north star, which I think kinda pulled everything together. Now I want to make a character with constellations all over its back - how cool would that be!?
